Membership

Become a BRLA member and gain access to beautiful and winding trails—perfect for walking, trail running, horseback trail riding, trail yoga, family hikes or just exploring alongside your furry friends and family. Members will also receive special invitations or advance notice about out most popular events. 

Our BRLA trail maintenance team mows the grass, clears rocks, branches and fallen trees — so our trails are safe for hikers and riders.  Membership dues cover only a portion of our trail maintenance and operational costs. The BRLA is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization.

The mission of the BRLA is to preserve and maintain the historic trail system throughout greater Bedford while furthering its equestrian and pastoral traditions for the benefit and enjoyment of our entire community.

The BRLA team actively maintains the trail system year round. Members can consult real-time trail updates on the BRLA app -- or subscribe for updates from the trails forum HERE.

Trail Updates

BEDFORD RIDING LANES ASSOCIATION

Officially founded in 1920, the BRLA maintains more than 100 linear miles of historic trails which connect and extend throughout Bedford, Mount Kisco, Katonah, Bedford Hills, Bedford Corners and Pound Ridge. Members meandering the trails enjoy the beautiful flora, fauna and other natural wonders that make our community unique. Our trail system is one of the largest remaining networks of private trails. The BRLA maintains and clears the trails year-round to ensure that they are preserved for future generations.

The Bedford Riding Lanes Association relies on our members, generous donors and a team of volunteers to be able to continue to serve the community.
