Have you been rucking -- or hearing a lot about rucking?

 We've got a rucking-wrecking crew putting together an event for YOU.  Rucking is a physical exercise that involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack over different terrains and distances.

Our first group RUCK with be approx. 3 miles guided by BRLA member and local rucker Joe Peters. We're going to take it slow and have a GREAT time. Come out for some amazing exercise with a fun crew! Light refreshments will be provided at the end.

The BRLA DUCK DERBY - 11/3

Kids and families are invited to participate in this special duck race down the Stone Hill River. Reserve one or more numbered ducks and then send them afloat in a race following the river's natural current in what is sure to be a dramatic finish!

1st and 2nd place prizes will be awarded for each race.

THE BRLA TINSEL TROT

Calling all riders and friends!

Please join us for the 2nd annual BRLA Tinsel Trot on Succabone Road, Dec. 15, 11 am. Horses and riders in festive dress will lead a caroling processional from Bisbee Lane to the Clocktower, up Guard Hill Rd, looping back on the Narrows Road trails. 

Pour your hot cocoas -- gather your friends and family -- and come line the streets for a spirited and special morning! (...you never know who might show up from the North Pole...)
